While Kevin Hart hasn’t yet wrestled away the title of “Hollywood’s Hardest-Working Actor” from his Central Intelligence co-star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the comedian continues to churn out movies at an almost unfathomable clip. And for his latest, he’s enlisting some A-list help.
As reconfirmed by its latest trailer, What Now? is a stand-up comedy concert film that was filmed exactly one year ago today, August 30, 2015, at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field. That event took place in front of 53,000 people, although Hart’s film won’t simply focus on his on-stage routine; rather, it’ll also include vignettes involving him as a dapper James Bond-ian gambler at a high-stakes casino where things get a little bit violent — and where he’s accompanied by a less-than-helpful (but always stunning-looking) Halle Berry. He also trades barbs with rival Don Cheadle about the lameness of the latter’s Marvel Cinematic Universe role.
Touting the diversity of his crowd — and the hopeful future it suggests for America — Hart seems like he’ll be in fine stand-up form in What Now?, which debuts in theaters on Oct. 14. You can check out the second trailer above.
