Georgia may be in fall camp season in full swing but the Bulldogs received big news on Friday morning when a Top247 prospect verbally committed to the Dawgs.

Adam Anderson, a 6-foot-5, 225 pound four-star prospect chose Georgia over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Ohio State and others.

Anderson called head coach Kirby Smart on Friday morning and said the head coach was excited.

“It is lifelong dream for me, coach was very excited when I told him, and I am also the first defensive commit in 2018 so he was excited for that,” Anderson said.
