This Is How Much Rand Paul Still Owes From His Bid for President - Roll Call

[ad_2]

Republican Sen. Rand Paul still owes more than $300,000 to vendors and campaign workers after his failed presidential run, a Kentucky newspaper reported.

Paul's presidential campaign reported  $301,108 in campaign debts and $2,558 in cash on hand in its most recent filing with the Federal Election Commission, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.

One vendor said it won't do business with the Kentucky Republican again, and another said their payments have been delayed. A Paul campaign spokeswoman said everyone will be paid in full.

Paul is not the only presidential candidate to owe money from his presidential campaign. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders' campaign owes  $898,878.96, and despite not even making it to a single primary contest, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker still owes $734,675.95 from his failed presidential effort.

Paul dropped out of the GOP primary race in February and is now running for re-election against Democratic Lexington Mayor Jim Gray.
