Adele to quit London and move into £6million Los Angeles mansion - The Sun

[ad_2]

The megastar is touring the US for eight months

ADELE’s cockney cackle is in danger of being replaced by a Hollywood twang.

After 28 years in Britain, the singer is quitting her UK base to spend the rest of the year in Los Angeles.

Going stateside. . . Adele is moving to LA

Adele, raised in South London, has moved to her £6million LA pad. It means Christmas Day will be spent opening presents by the pool with partner Simon Konecki and son Angelo.

Adele said: “I’m in America for eight months. I’m on tour and then I’m going to have Christmas in America. I haven’t done that before, I’m really excited.”

And Adele has caught the LA bug. Instead of necking cider in her local Brockwell Park, she has given up booze on tour, is at the gym daily and eats food from organic health store Bristol Farms.

She said: “Oh my god, Bristol Farms – it’s like a better Whole Foods with brands. I love it. I had a field day there yesterday.”

I give it a few months until she misses Chicken Cottage.

Hol Lott of love

SHE has spent most of the year in the West End playing Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

But when the curtain comes down next month, PIXIE LOTT will be off to cosy up with boyfriend, OLIVER CHESHIRE.

In an exclusive chat, Ollie said: “We’re sometimes like ships in the night but when you love each other, you find the time to see each other. In September, we are going to get away for a holiday.”

Good way to celebrate those rave reviews.

Sarah comes to Bizarre HQ

GIRLS ALOUD fans take heart, it may not be over.

SARAH HARDING swung by Bizarre HQ for a live chat on my Facebook about her role in Ghost: The Musical.
She said: “Of course I miss Girls Aloud. I miss touring and that’s probably why I like the idea of doing the Ghost musical.
“I’d like to think in the next couple of years it would be good to do something to commemorate our success.” Sarah is “very nervous” about following in DEMI MOORE’s footsteps, but reckons her take on the iconic pottery scene will be just as steamy as the hit 1990 movie. She said: “It’s quite sexy.”

Brent Fired

DAVID BRENT lived out his rock star dream as he and his band FOREGONE CONCLUSION performed at the world premiere of his movie Life On The Road.

RICKY GERVAIS’ alter-ego was introduced  on stage by actor EWEN MACINTOSH, in the form of his ex-The Office employee Keith eating a scotch egg.

Among the crowd at Leicester Square were 100 lucky Bizarre readers who won VIP access to the exclusive show- and Brent didn’t disappoint.

Dressed in shades and a waistcoat, he kicked off the track Slough telling the audience: “everything about this song is factually accurate. You might learn something.”

But the highlight came as he grooved to reggae track Equality Street before firing T-shirts out of a cannon for the finale of Free Love Freeway.

In the film, Brent quits his job as an office worker to pursue his dream career as a musician.

On last night’s showing, he has already hit the big time.
