Coldplay's headlining show at last year's Glastonbury Festival won best festival performance of 2016 at the UK Music Business Awards last night (October 13).
Coldplay headlined the Pyramid Stage on the Sunday night, bringing the festival to a close in a cacophony of noise, colour, confetti and giant balloons.
It was Coldplay's 3rd headline performance at Glastonbury Festival, and included a touching tribute to Viola Beach, as well as as guest appearances from Bee Gee Barry Gibb, and Glastonbury Festival founder Michael Eavis.
The band shared the news on Facebook, writing: "The band's Glastonbury Festival (official) show won Best Festival Performance at last night's LIVE UK Music Business Awards!"

The set featured well loved classics such as Yellow, The Scientist, and Fix you, as well as newer anthems like Paradise and Adventure of a Lifetime.
It also included a cover of Boys That Sing by Viola Beach, the young band whose members and manager died in a car crash.
Barry Gibb also joined them on stage to get the crowd bouncing to Bee Gees hits To Love Somebody, and Staying Alive, before Michael Eavis rounded off the festival with a fine rendition of My Way by Frank Sinatra.
