Scott Storch might have lost a lot of money over the years, but his talent remains intact.
The platinum producer recently took to Twitter to show that he still has it on the keys, playing a bevy of hits he produced or co-produced over the years including “Still D.R.E.,” “Lay Low,” “Let Me Blow Ya Mind,” “You Got Me,” and “Me, Myself and I” and “Make It Rain.”
Storch is attempting to mount a comeback after drug problems derailed his career for almost the last decade. Earlier this year, it wasn’t looking good for the “Lean Back” producer who was accused of still being on drugs and sued by Brad Cohen and Seth Cohen, two men who put up one million dollars to bankroll the producer’s comeback attempt, for a breach of contract.
Over the summer, he reunited with Dr. Dre whom he got a lot of A-list work with in the early 2000s. Posting a picture of himself and the good Doc, he captioned the photo, “It’s a big day in hip hop earlier today . Reunited and it feels so good #drdre X #scottstorch what a great meeting ! Stay tuned ❗️history repeats it self #weworking.”
Last month, the Piano Man revealed he is releasing a documentary series on his life and the ups and downs of his career. “Ryan Phillipe is portraying me as my character for a ten-part limited docuseries,” said the 42-year-old. “The script is already done and a lot of feelings are going to get hurt from this thing because I’m not really holding anything back.”
Most recently, Storch produced Rick Ross and Chris Brown’s “Sorry” in 2015. One thing is for sure. He can still tickle those keys.
