A pair of New York men — including a firefighter — were busted after a Baltimore Ravens game in Maryland and accused of assaulting a fan now fighting for his life.
Ravens buff Joseph Bauer, 55, was hospitalized in critical condition after fending off two Oakland Raiders fans Sunday afternoon, a relative told the Baltimore Sun.
His sister, Susan Bauer, said Bauer, a former Marine, hit his head on concrete at M&T Bank Stadium and has a 30% chance of survival.
"My brother is in critical condition on life support over a football game," Bauer told the Baltimore newspaper.

Police nabbed Westchester County men Scott Smith, 28, of Mount Vernon, and Andrew Nappi, 31, of Eastchester.
The two men were reportedly angered that Bauer, who was attending the game with his wife, let a woman cut ahead of them in a concession line, according to WBAL-TV.
The men confronted Bauer toward the end of the game and punched him in the head from behind.
Scott Smith, left, 28, and Andrew Nappi, right, 31, were arrested in connection to the Sunday afternoon beating.

Smith and Nappi face assault charges in connection to the weekend attack and were booked into Baltimore City Detention Center.

The Journal News identified Smith as a firefighter who joined Mount Vernon Fire Department in March. He was suspended without pay pending an investigation.
Nappi is no longer in custody, jail records show.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh expressed the team’s sympathies in a heartfelt press briefing Monday and said Bauer was a season ticket holder who had attended “countless games."
“I want to extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to Joe Bauer and his family for what happened at the game Sunday — which is absolutely inexcusable,” said Harbaugh. “That’s just not what we’re about. We’re a family.”
